Bloomberg, citing people familiar with the matter, reported that Anthropic signed a $10 billion, six-year compute agreement with Volta Infra Holdings, a London startup incorporated in early 2026; capacity comes from a Bitdeer-operated, hydropower-backed data center in Tydal, Norway running Nvidia Vera Rubin chips, totaling 133 MW delivered in two phases by no later than March 2027. Volta confirmed a $10 billion contract and a $300 million raise at a $2.4 billion valuation (led by Andreessen Horowitz and Altimeter, with Nvidia and Michael Dell participating), plus a $5 billion chip-financing facility.
