Bank of America is reported to be planning a $250B AI and energy-infrastructure initiative
The Wall Street Journal reported on August 12 that Bank of America plans to support $250 billion of U.S. infrastructure activity from early 2026 through mid-2027 through lending, investment, capital-markets, banking and advisory work. The stated scope includes data centers, semiconductors, equipment, conventional and renewable generation, and energy storage. No signed data-center or energy-project list, sector allocation or individual financing terms were disclosed; the figure is a cross-service initiative target, not disclosed Bank of America balance-sheet capital or completed data-center capacity.
