Core Scientific is reported to have completed its Polaris DS acquisition for a Muskogee expansion

Data Center Dynamics reported on August 18 that Core Scientific completed its acquisition of Polaris DS, obtaining about 40 acres and existing service agreements for up to 440 MW; the report gave a $444 million cash value and said the adjacent Muskogee campus is planned to reach 1.5 GW of gross power and 1 GW of leasable power. Core Scientific's May 8-K confirmed the proposed acquisition, land and service agreements, but no matching closing announcement or current filing was located by this scan's cutoff. The 1.5 GW / 1 GW figures are expansion plans, not built or operating capacity.
