Globalinx is reported to have bought land to expand its Virginia Beach cable-landing-station campus

Data Center Dynamics reported on August 18 that Globalinx bought land to expand its Virginia Beach cable-landing-station (CLS) data-center campus, and noted that local officials are considering a data-center moratorium. The public lead does not disclose parcel size, consideration, power or IT capacity, planning approval, financing, customers or construction timing, so land acquisition does not establish approved or available data-center capacity.
