Naver is reported to have invested in offshore wave-powered data-center company Panthalassa

Data Center Dynamics reported on August 14 that Naver invested in US offshore wave-powered data-center company Panthalassa, which targets commercialization of its wave-power solution in 2027. The report does not disclose investment size, ownership, project location, data-center megawatts, grid or offshore permits, or customer contracts, and no public announcement of this round was located from Naver or Panthalassa. The 2027 commercialization target is not treated as permitted, financed or operating power capacity.
