REPORTED DEVELOPMENT

Terranova reportedly starts work on a 300MW data-center campus near São Paulo

Data Center Dynamics reported on August 22 that Latin American operator Terranova had started the first phase of its Campinas campus in Brazil. The report says the initial substation is designed for 300MW, targeted for December 2027, with a potential expansion to 1GW; it also describes more than $500M of initial investment and a closed-loop liquid-cooling system. This remains a single-source industry-media report: no complete project-owner, interconnection or regulatory confirmation was located, so the 300MW, 1GW and timing figures are not evidence of permitted, energized, commissioned or operating capacity.

PUBLIC RESPONSE

By this scan, no complete public confirmation of the campus construction, interconnection or capacity stage was located from Terranova, Actis, a power provider or a regulator.
